Peg Solitaire

Jump a peg over its neighbour into an empty hole and the jumped peg comes off. Keep going until no jump is left; one peg in the middle is the classic finish. Three boards, unlimited take-backs and a hint that searches for a finishing line.

How to play

Tap a peg: the holes it can jump into light up. Tap one of them to jump, or drag the peg there. A jump goes over an adjacent peg into the empty hole directly behind it, and the jumped peg is removed.

The English and European boards jump along rows and columns; the triangle also jumps along its slanted lines. With a keyboard, the arrow keys move between holes and Enter or Space selects and jumps.

The round ends when no jump is left. One peg in the goal hole is the classic finish, one peg anywhere is a solved board. Hint looks for a finishing line from the current position; when none can be found it says so.
