Venturescape Limited is the data controller for this site. We are a company registered in England and Wales with our registered office at 7th Floor, 8 Shepherd Market, Mayfair, London W1J 7JY, United Kingdom.

2. The data we use

Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages and puzzles you open, the website or ad that referred you, and approximate location (country or city).

Data you give us: only what you include if you email us.

You do not need an account to play, and we do not ask for your name.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

• Running the site and keeping it secure: legitimate interests.
• Measuring and improving our adverts, including on Facebook and Instagram: consent.
• Replying to your emails: legitimate interests.

Cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary are only used with your consent, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

4. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure how people who see our adverts on Facebook and Instagram use our site and to show our adverts to relevant audiences.

Meta and other third parties may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.

• Our hosting provider: DigitalOcean (data centres in Frankfurt, Germany)
• Meta, for advert measurement (only with your consent)

We do not share your personal data with anyone for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where this happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to protect your data.

7. How long we keep it

• Server logs: 30 days
• Emails: until resolved, then 12 months

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email privacy@solidpicksuk.com and we will reply within one month.

9. Age requirement (18+)

SolidPicksUK is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, access to our systems is restricted, and we collect as little data as we can.
